Full details about connecting to the network will be provided when you register.
All the conference locations should have WiFi hotspots throughout, but
instead of sentencing delegates to answering email 24/7, we would like to
provide the opportunity
to further engage in discussion and record observations, debates
and controversies.
As well as interacting with other conference delegates we also
hope to be able to communicate with hypertext researchers who couldn't
make it to Nottingham.
Wiki A Wiki server is provided as a more structured (and permanent) record of the conference. Go to http://ht03.webcentre.net/wiki using the login ht03 and passsword nottingham.
IRC An IRC server is being run for the conference. It is being hosted on irc.webcentre.net (thanks to Mark Thompson) on the channel #ht03. It has a password nottingham, so after connecting to the server with your favourite IRC client, you must issue the command /join #ht03 nottingham. If you use Mozilla, you can just click on the following IRC-based URL: irc://ht03.webcentre.net/ht03?key=nottingham.
All the conversations are archived and available on the Web at http://irc.webcentre.net/scribe - login as ht03 and passsword nottingham.
See www.irchelp.org for background information and help on IRC and the various clients available. Alternatively, ask a friend at the conference!
Photo Dropbox A WebDAV server is being set up for you to easily share the photo collections you build up at the conference. You can view its contents with a Web browser at http://ht03.webcentre.net/dav. The same URL is used to mount it as filestore on Windows or Mac OS with the login ht03 and passsword nottingham.
