| How to find the Department of Computer Science |
Please remember, the Department of Computer Science is on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham, not the main campus
Coming from the A1 (East of Nottingham)Presuming you come from the A1 from Cambridge, follow the A52 for quite some distance until it turns north. At this stage, it is the Ring Route, and is a dual carriageway.
As you travel north, you will pass a roundabout intersecting the A52 with the A6005, followed by a roundabout where the A52 turns left to Derby but the Ring Route continues north (Queens Medical Centre is on the right and the main campus of the University is on the left as you approach this junction).
Now see the "main campus" part of the directions at the bottom.
Coming from the M1 (West of Nottingham)Leave the M1 at junction 25 - you are now on the A52. Continue over three roundabouts - at the third roundabout you will see the Main Campus on the right, and the Queens Medical Centre is on the far right. Turn left on to the Ring Route (heading North).
Now see the "main campus" part of the directions at the bottom.
Once you are at the Main CampusProceed north on the Ring Route, until you come to the next roundabout signposted with the A609 to the city centre going right. Turn right at this roundabout (toward the city centre).
As soon as you leave the roundabout, there is a pedestrian crossing. Immediately after this pedestrian crossing, turn right into the Jubilee Campus entry. The gatekeeper will point you to the visitor parking.
I hope these directions adequately supplement the maps!
